Day 102 Wednesday
Oct 2, 2013
Well it is
our last day in Little Falls and all of a sudden there are more jobs to do to
get us ready to leave. We want to be
totally caught up with blogging, laundry, groceries, repairs as now we will be
travelling every day and it is near impossible to get much done besides eating
and travelling and blogging on travel days.
Julie
returns the rental car, while Dawson installs the diode. Next is the oil change. This is almost complete by the time Julie
returns with another couple hundred dollars of staples. Since we have wheels we want to make sure we
have stocked up well on non perishables.
Plus everything is very expensive.

After
groceries, we put the wind generator back up to ensure that the new solar
panels don’t interfere with the rotation of the solar panels. All is good so we put the wind generator back
in the spare bedroom as it is too tall to fit under the bridges worry free.
Next is
potato salad making, as we are having a bon voyage barbeque in Little
Falls. There are 6 boats here that have
been socializing for a week, plus the Little Falls Marina hosts, Tom and Chris
that are joining in. The barbeque is wonderful with about 20 people in
attendance. We say good night by 8:00 in
order to be well rested for an early start.
Cheers
Julie and
Dawson
