Day 5 On the hill at Castle Mountain

Well once again we were up and at em. I love travelling west because I can handle early (this is Julie talking as Dawson is a morning person).  We were at the lifts waiting for them to open.  That has never happened to me before.

Skiing was good.  No new snow unfortunately.  Julie went ass over tea kettle on a steep slope and took 50 feet to stop, leaving her ski far behind.  Good training for Machu Pichhu hiking back up for the retrieval.

We are having fun with the Suunto watch Ross got for Dawson, as Julie had the heart monitor on when she fell and climbed up to get ski and you can see it all on the heart report.  Maxed out at 176 and even the ``eek`` shows up!  It also said Julie burned 1200 calories in the 4 hour afternoon.  Look out brownies!

There was a hint of snow at dusk so we will see what daylight brings.

Cheers
Dawson and Julie
