Day 3 We made it!

Today was the last push to get to the Mountains or as we say "WEST".  We can tell we are very close as the radio station is all country music and christian stations.  We attempted to stop for our first perspective photo (Beth will appreciate) this morning but started to slide a bit so decided to keep on going.  Glad we had the opportunity to realize the roads were slippery before needing to break.  The barometer was up this morning so we figured we were sneaking in between weather systems.

The site of the potential photo shot, a nice prespective shot but a bit to slippery to stop
Same view as the first but still did not stop for a photo

We can see the start of the foothills to the west.  Big hay carting trucks are barrelling south as we head north up hwy 200 in Montana.  We got to see a couple bald eagles resting in a tree at Wolf Point just after crossing the Missouri river again.
The Missouria for a second time

Most of the day was beautiful and sunny.  Attached is a pic. of the weather fronts.  In the distance it looks like hills, but that is the clouds on the front.
A view of two weather fronts, we snuck between them

Drive in to Castle Mountain in the early evening.
Finally we have crossed back into Canada and driving to Chateau Wright at Castle Mountain.  The road in was slippery and hilly, but after 3, 215 kms. we made it safely.
