It was... snowy
We finally got underway at noon today after waiting a day for our weather window. It was a fairly snowy day in Sarnia in the morning, but by noon the snow had stopped and we left Sarnia. By 2 in the afternoon we were in good driving conditions, the photo below is just out side of Lansing Michigan where we saw deer tree stands within a hundred yards of houses and the highway. We managed to reach Chicago just in time for rush hour on a Friday night.
We are currently in Deforest Wisconsin and tucked away for the night after covering 840 kms of the trip, travelling through 4 States, identifying license plates from 18 states and 3 provinces.
