The day started off rocky as we did not know how to operate Kevin and Caroline's Expresso machine but we were able to come up with a coffee.
On our morning break we met up with our Castle Mountain Guide, Steve Mott. Steve's claim to fame (for Sci 85 grads) is he is married to classmate Mary Able. Steve, like us is currently retired. He is on ski day 50, he has two phrases he lives by;
- Retirement is wasted on the old (we are trying to correct this) and
- Fifty is the new 15
I like the first one, but skeptical about the second, but that might be based on what I was doing at 15.

Skiing was good it just took a couple of runs to get our ski legs back and skied till the hill closed at 3:30 pm.
We finished off the daylight with a training walk in preparation for our March Machu Pichhu hike. Our trip out here gives us the opportunity for altitude training as the Wright Chateau is at 4600 ft. (Top of the hill about 7463ft)

We returned to the cabin where we completed the most important activity of the day - Training on the Expresso Machine. One of the main features of the Wright Chateau is the Expresso machine. It is quite a fancy machine but produces some excellent coffee. Zack gave both Julie and I a training coarse on the unit.
