Day 65, Monday August 26 Sudbury to Sarnia

We head out for our long drive home only to realize after 30 minutes we do not have the IPAD which is a critical tool on the boat for us. Back we go....

Today is our 24th anniversary, and we are hosting a dinner party at the Hines home.  Julie went to highschool with Gerry and Joanne.  We were supposed to host on the boat, but the condo development where the dock is parked does not like parties, so Joanne and Gerry said to move it to their place.

Traffic was light, and we were dropping of winter tires to Ross (no Ross at home though as he has headed out to training camp with U of Guelph), and got to Sarnia by 4:00 exhausted.  We dashed off to the store to pick up steaks, beer, wine, and groceries, then off to the boat to do some food prep and check that the boat was still fine.  All good so we proceededGerr to Gerry and Joanne's where my good friend Ron and his wife Beth also met us.  A lovely thank you dinner and send off with friends on the shores of Sarnia.

Cheers
Julie and Dawson
