Day 23 Snow, Snow, Snow and more Snow

Doug Jagger and Dawson in the tow line
So day 1 at Whistler.  Bottom of the hill was a bit warm.  Pineapple express they call it.  Top part of the hill was shut down for avalanche control.  We headed up and were at the top by 9:15.  Snow was swirling up top.  Doug (Jagger) and Peter Thomson caught up with us.  Karen Levine was still snoozing.  Overall had a great day.  After lunch visibility was bad with more snow falling, but by 2:00 visibility improved and some excellent runs were had.  Doug headed in early but by now Karen was leading us around the mountain with friends Deanna and Beth (from Watford, near Sarnia).

Below are a few pics showing all the snow.  Tomorrow is supposed to be clear so we will be able to have a great view from the Dopplmyr Peak to Peak conveyor.
